If your folding clothesline is beyond repair or you just want to replace it, there are a few things you'll need to do before getting started. The following instructions will walk you through the entire process from start to finish for clothesline installation in Sydney.
1) Measure the length of your new line and determine where you'll want it to hang. Place the line between two trees or posts at the desired height. Make sure the line is tight against the support and not dangling.

2) Remove any broken or frayed lines. Cut a piece of sturdy twine about 18 inches long and tie one end to one of the tree or post anchors. Repeat with the other anchor. This will help keep the line in place while you're installing it.
3) Now it's time to install the line! Fold each end of the line in towards itself, then tuck it under one arm of the twine anchors. Grab onto one end with your other hand and pull up on the line until it's tight against the anchors. You'll now have two loops of twine hanging down from the anchors.
4) Repeat steps 2-3 with the other loop, then use these loops.
If you've ever had the unfortunate experience of a rotten clothesline, you know just how frustrating it can be to get it fixed. Luckily, there's no need to give up on your old line—just install a new one.
